Continuously Improving Graph View Interaction Stability and Information Display

We are improving Graph View usability and stability so that node selection, label readability, panning, and camera controls do not interfere with thinking flow exploration.

Graph View handles many nodes and connection relationships on a single screen, so even small interaction issues can greatly interfere with the user's exploration. When nodes overlap, labels are hard to read, or panning responds differently from intent, the user has difficulty distinguishing whether the structure is wrong or it is a UI issue. To reduce this, we are continually improving interaction and display stability.

The standard for Graph View improvement is not a more flashy screen but whether the user can read their thinking flow without distortion.

What Changed in This Update

How to Verify

  1. Open Graph View and check node selection and screen movement.
  2. Compare labels and connection relationships in areas where multiple nodes are close together.
  3. Check that interactions remain consistent during Timelapse playback.
  4. If errors are visible, distinguish between data issues and UI display issues and leave feedback.

Example in Actual Usage Flow

For example, when the user checks the current improvement status, they open Graph View and check node selection and screen movement. They compare labels and connection relationships in areas where multiple nodes are close together. Then if errors are visible, they distinguish between data issues and UI display issues and leave feedback. In this process, the following scope should not be confused with the current completion status. Features that guide the user's gaze through automatic camera movement or automatic emphasis are not included in the basic principles. Checking this way helps distinguish between already provided features and parts still being stabilized.

Before and After the Change

Before the improvement, the currently provided scope and parts still being stabilized could appear mixed within a single sentence. In this update, we are improving Graph View usability and stability so that node selection, label readability, panning, and camera controls do not interfere with thinking flow exploration. Already provided features are preserved as is, and only improvement targets are described separately so users can understand the current status without exaggeration.

Scope and Things to Note

Why This Change Matters in the Overall 5BY.AI Structure

Graph View must only serve the role of showing Core state as a Layer 4 Projection. Therefore, even when improving usability, we prioritize making the same structure more accurately and stably readable rather than changing the memory structure to fit screen convenience.
