Added a Pricing Guide Page to Check Plan Direction and Provided Scope
We added a /pricing guide page so you can check plan structure, free trial conditions, and payment preparation status before using 5BY.AI.
Before using the product, users should be able to understand the cost and provided scope. Initially, pricing direction and payment preparation status were scattered across multiple screens, so we added a /pricing page where plan and free trial conditions can be checked in one place.
A pricing page should be a public contract that prevents users from misunderstanding costs and conditions, before being a screen that drives payment.
What Changed in This Update
- Provides guidance comparing the structure of monthly and annual plans.
- Displays the 30-day free trial condition provided once per account for first-time accounts.
- Clearly guides the structure where payment for the selected plan continues after the free trial ends.
- Explains the direction where active plan and additional credit usage are displayed as separate items.
- Distinguished and updated the difference between the pricing direction shown at the initial public release and the actual payment introduction point.
- Guides states separately so that payment functionality and the provided scope of a separate billing management screen are not confused.
How to Verify
- Check monthly and annual plans and free trial conditions at /pricing.
- Check free trial eligibility and scheduled payment information on the logged-in account.
- Before selecting a plan, read the once-per-account condition and post-trial payment method.
- If there are payment or usage-related issues, check the account status and public guidance together.
Example in Actual Usage Flow
For example, to verify this change, the user checks monthly and annual plans and free trial conditions at /pricing. They check free trial eligibility and scheduled payment information on the logged-in account. Then before selecting a plan, they read the once-per-account condition and post-trial payment method. Finally, if there are payment or usage-related issues, they check the account status and public guidance together. In this flow, the following conditions should also be checked. Prices included in the initial guidance are the design direction at the time of that public release, and the current payment screen display takes precedence. Therefore, this update is not just adding one more notice item but enabling the user to check the start, result, and limitations of the feature within the same flow.
Before and After the Change
Before the change, users had to guess this feature or notice from other screens or navigate across multiple pages. After this update, we added a /pricing guide page so you can check plan structure, free trial conditions, and payment preparation status before using 5BY.AI. However, items where public notices and actual account/runtime status may differ need to be checked separately, and notice text alone should not be interpreted as expanding permissions or availability.
Scope and Things to Note
- Prices included in the initial guidance are the design direction at the time of that public release, and the current payment screen display takes precedence.
- The free trial is provided once per account and does not assume repeated creation or automatic extension.
- Usage display and actual billing are different pieces of information, so each status should be checked separately.
- A separate /billing management screen is a scope separate from payment functionality and its current provided status may differ.
Why This Change Matters in the Overall 5BY.AI Structure
The reason for separating pricing guidance into an independent page is to treat product features and cost conditions as public information at the same level. Users should be able to check what they can use before payment, when the free trial ends, and what state is still in preparation.
Criteria for Verifying This Update
- The public screen title, summary, and actual provided feature should describe the same content.
- Adding a new feature should not arbitrarily change existing Saved, Anchor, Handoff, and account flows.
- Conditions that are in preparation or vary by account should be marked separately without exaggerating as fully available.
