Find Saved Pack, Saved, and Anchor Again with Search
We provide a search feature to quickly find Pack, Saved, and Anchor when you remember conversation titles or partial words. Search is used as a tool to aid exploration and reentry.
Separately from exploring thinking flow as structure, when the user remembers exact names or words, search is the fastest method. 5BY.AI's search is an auxiliary tool for rediscovering saved coordinates and structure, and the result list itself is not used as the final ranking of memory.
Search finds the position of records, and reentry starts thinking again from that position.
What Changed in This Update
- You can find needed items based on titles and related information of Pack, Saved, and Anchor.
- Even if you do not remember the exact conversation title, you can narrow down candidates using partial keywords.
- You can open items from search results to check detailed context and connection relationships.
- Found Anchor can be selected to connect to the reentry flow continuing through Handoff.
- Search result similarity alone does not automatically change importance or default sorting.
How to Verify
- Select Search in 5by Tools.
- Enter a project name, concept, or partial words from a conversation that you remember.
- Check the type of Pack, Saved, or Anchor in the results.
- After checking details, continue to Graph View exploration or Handoff.
Example in Actual Usage Flow
For example, to use this feature in actual work, the user selects Search in 5by Tools. They enter a project name, concept, or partial words from a conversation that they remember. Then they check the type of Pack, Saved, or Anchor in the results. When needed, they check details and continue to Graph View exploration or Handoff. However, when using the feature, the following boundaries must be observed. Search is not a feature that perfectly restores all past sentences or judges meaning on behalf of the user. Knowing this distinction helps users use the feature without confusing the system's automatic processing with their explicit choices.
Before and After the Change
Understanding this feature as simple storage, auto-summary, or auto-recommendation blurs the boundary with other features. In this update, we provide a search feature to quickly find Pack, Saved, and Anchor when you remember conversation titles or partial words. Search is used as a tool to aid exploration and reentry. We separated actions the user directly executes from actions where the system shows structure, clarifying what is recorded and what does not change state.
Scope and Things to Note
- Search is not a feature that perfectly restores all past sentences or judges meaning on behalf of the user.
- It does not automatically select important memories based on semantic similarity alone.
- When you do not remember exact keywords, Graph View and timeline exploration may be more suitable.
- 5BY.AI's identity is not a search engine but a memory infrastructure that aids exploration and reentry of thinking flow.
Why This Change Matters in the Overall 5BY.AI Structure
The reason we provide search as a feature yet do not define the entire product around search is that relationships and time play a larger role in long-term memory. Search helps find a starting point, and Pack and connection relationships, Saved and Anchor show what thinking flow that starting point was situated in.
Criteria for Verifying This Update
- The user's explicit choices and the system's automatic processing should be explained separately.
- The target unit of the feature and boundaries with other features should match between public description and actual behavior.
- Screen navigation or similarity alone should not automatically determine importance, correct answers, or recommendation paths.
